ARE YOU BORN AGAIN?

We are either a "Natural Man/Woman" or we are "Spiritually Alive Men/Women"!  The difference rests in what have we done with Jesus Christ?

Now many in today's culture have the idea that we can set the terms which God must then "live up to" or meet and we ourselves set the definitions about our spiritual condition!

Well, think abou this logically for a moment.  If you were a lump of clay and the potter fashioned and formed you to be a cup, well then you are a cup no matter what you think you are!  You may decide you are really a plate, you may convince yourself you are really a plate, you may tell others you are a plate and they may even agree with you ... but it doesn't change the fact that the potter made you a cup and no matter what you say or think or convince yourself and others to the contrary, the reality is that you are a cup!

In this example the only thing that can change your reality is the potter!  The potter can refashion you into a plate, but either way, since he is the potter and you are the clay, what HE says and does determines your reality!

So then, what does God say about us?  What is our reality now and what does God want it to be for us?  If you have never elected Jesus Christ to be LORD of your life, then you are a lost soul, a natural person!  If you have called upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation then you are born again, being saved and are a spiritual person! 

Here is the difference ...

• Natural Man - - If we have not accepted God's gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ; if we have not called upon the name of the LORD Jesus Christ to be saved ... if this is you, then God still calls you SINNER!
• • Romans 3:10-23 (NKJV)
    As it is written: "There is none righteous, no, not one; . . .  
    . . . They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one." . . .  
    . . . Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
    Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin . . . 
    . . . For there is no difference;
    for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God . . .

If you are a Sinner, then you are under the condemnation of guilt before God ... which is NOT the condition God wants you to remain living in!

• 2 Peter 3:9 (NKJV)
  The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
•  John 3:16-17 (NKJV) 
  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 
  For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved!
• Romans 10:11-13 (NKJV)
  For the Scripture says,"Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." 
  For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
  For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

So then, when you have called upon Jesus Christ to be your LORD, you are no longer a Sinner, you are no longer merely a Natural Man but have become SPIRITUALLY ALIVE! 

However, until you do this, you remain spiritually dead; separated from God and estranged from Him!

  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.

    The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
  • Now literally and eternally, by faith in Christ Jesus as Lord we are made God's children!

      But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:
  • As born again we are no longer estranged from God and no longer are we guilty before Him!
  • • 2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (NKJV)
      Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
      Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ ...
    • Romans 5:1-2 (NKJV)
      Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
      through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN! 

The choice is yours and it is a choice!

Call upon the LORD who is Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God.  You are doing more than merely believing about Him ... you are electing Him to be your LORD!

Believe on The Lord ... meaning that you begin at this point to base your reality on Who He is and What He says!

He and He alone is the way to be in fellowship with God and by Him are your sins forgiven and your guilt for being a sinner is removed from you ... God will no longer see you as guilty before Him!

Declare your decision!  First to God and then to everyone else in your life!  This is called making a profession of faith, your faith!

Prayer Accepting God's Offer to be Born Again ...

"Dear God in Heaven, thank You for sending Jesus Christ Your Son to pay the penalty for my sinfulness and making it possible to have eternal life as Your child!  Jesus Christ, I declare You to be my Lord and my whole existence is now based on You and what You say!  Lord, I know that without You I have no life and I now ask You in faith for the life that You alone can give and receive You as my Lord and thank You for giving me the right to become the child of God!  Thank You for giving me the Spirit of adoption and the reality that God is now my Father and that the devil is no longer my father!  Thank You for giving Your life that I may have eternal life and thank You for being raised from the dead and that You now sit at the right hand of God our Father and that You make intercession for me and keep me safely in our Father's hands and that I now a member of Your Body and that You will receive me into heaven when I die!  Amen and amen!"
