TRUE HOPE LICENSE GUIDELINES

A license to minister from True Hope Churches & Ministries will confer upon qualified applicants the authority to fulfill the responsibilities of the Gospel Ministry of Christ Jesus yet under the direction and supervision of the ordained ministers of True Hope Churches & Ministries.

Such responsibilities include, first and foremost, reaching lost souls with the Gospel of Christ Jesus in order that such souls become born again saints of God Almighty!

After that, your responsibilities are to disciple all saints that come into your membership, mentoring them to develop a constantly growing, intimate fellowship with God as Abba, Father and leading them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You will be authorized to perform the sacraments of baptism and the Lord's Supper and, under the direction of True Hope Ministries, to perform marriages and funerals as you may be called upon to do so.

Please note that True Hope Churches & Ministries does not agree with a minister that engages in a so-called "Marriage Ministry" in effect being a minister for hire to primarily earn an income from weddings.

Also note that a True Hope Licensed Minister is not authorized to:

• Establish a congregation independently from the direct oversight and supervision of True Hope Churches & Ministries. 
• License other candidates for ministry.
• Ordain candidates for ministry.
• Ordain deacons/deaconesses without authorization of True Hope Churches & Ministries. 
• Act in the capacity of Director of True Hope Churches & Ministries or True Hope Bible Institute.
• Ordained ministers are so authorized to do any/all of the above but as a licensed minister is under the mentorship and tutelage of one or more True Hope Ministers until such time as learning requirements have been satisfactorily completed, they will have these limitations.

Upon such completion of learning, ordination may be applied for and in most cases will be granted at which time the ordained True Hope Minister will be fully authorized to act with the full authority of a True Hope Minister in the areas listed above.

The minimum term of licensure is 12 months.  At the conclusion of 12 months a decision will be made whether or not further mentorship is necessary and if so, specific objectives will be provided for the completion of ordination preparation.
