Righteousness - - is this just a religious concept or can it become our living reality?

For too many generations, righteousness is a concept that “Christians” agree with but that is as far as it has gone.

God never intended for righteousness to be a “concept” or “idea” to live by nor a “goal” to try for! God intends that His people BE RIGHTEOUS! God intends that righteousness is the reality of His children!

Not self-righteous religious snobbery that droves of lost souls find repelling but SPIRITUAL RIGHTEOUSNESS that enables God’s people to walk uprightly before God as an example to lost man what God can achieve in their lives and is the motivating fuel for Saints to witness and share God’s love and the Gospel with souls in the bondage of sin’s dominion!

The world of lost souls is desperate to see genuine Christians!

The righteousness that exalts a nation!

The righteousness that is realized only as we become the NEW CREATIONS that God accomplishes in His children through Christ Jesus our Lord!

The righteousness that sets us free from the slavery of sin and breaks the power of sin’s control in our lives because we have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

As we proceed into the days leading up to the great tribulation and as persecution increases against The Body of Christ … as the world is mounting increasing pressure to compromise our spiritual integrity and our Biblical moral character … there is one response that will prevail!

RAISE THE STANDARD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ONCE AGAIN!

True righteousness!  Godly righteousness!  The righteousness that is produced only by faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and that produces obedience to our Heavenly Father … the standard that God raises against the enemy coming in like a flood.

The church must raise the standard of righteousness to become the Bride for which Christ returns and which will cause the world to take notice when the Church has been lifted from the earth!  For Christ is not returning for a whipped, defeated, discouraged, moaning, whining distraught group of believers who are no longer making a difference in their world!

Nay!  Jesus is returning for His Bride that is boldly standing against the onslaught of wickedness and iniquity that assails and persecutes but cannot silence the Believers’ voices who are faithful to declare and display God’s power that remains life-changing and soul saving until that day!

Raise the standard of righteousness among the saints of God … not to be “better” than those who we live in the midst of but rather to show that Whose we are is better than who the kingdom of darkness is subjugated to!

It is time again for a revival in the Church such as history has not witnessed!

Revival of righteous awareness!

Revival of righteous living!

Revival of righteous standards!

Revival of righteous devotion to Christ Jesus as Lord!

Revival of righteous fellowship with God our Father!

Revival of righteous ministry to the lost souls of our communities!

Raising the standard of righteousness means returning to The Word of God as our only standard for right & wrong!

Raising the standard of righteousness means returning to the God of The Word as the only object of our devotion and loyalty!

Raising the standard of righteousness means returning to trusting in the Work of Jesus Christ for our salvation and forsaking humanly directed substitutions!

Raising the standard of righteousness means repenting of seeking first our own kingdoms and desires and returning to seeking first the Kingdom of God and HIS righteousness!

Raising the standard of righteousness means seeking to be fruitful in the Ministry of Christ and His Gospel and forsaking works for which we seek recognition and approval from the world!
